Hello to the Ukrainian community of Tokyo!

Students from Ashinaga Kokorojuku, a student dormitory run by the Ashinaga Foundation, would like to invite you to a cultural exchange event to meet and have a good time.

Invited: up to 10 Ukrainians living in Tokyo (those living in the Tachikawa, Hino, Tama area will be especially close)

Open to all, but the language of the event will be primarily Japanese with some English translation support, so a basic command of Japanese is desirable.

Purpose: A cultural exchange event for students to learn about the Ukrainian community in Japan, and Japanese students will share their lives. Students will have a tour of the dormitory, there will be a short presentation from both sides, and from lunch we will cook pancakes together and chat freely.

When: June 29, 2024 (Saturday) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Venue: Ashinaga Kokorojuku Rainbowhouse

About ASHINAGA Foundation:

The Ashinaga Foundation is a non-profit organization in Japan that provides educational, emotional, and financial support to children who have lost one or both parents due to illness, natural disaster, or suicide, as well as families with parents with disabilities.

About ASHINAGA Kokorojuku is a student dormitory managed by the Ashinaga Foundation that provides affordable housing to Ashinaga Foundation scholarship recipients studying at universities in Tokyo.
